Ring in the Lunar New Year and celebrate the Year of the Tiger! Enjoy performances by the New York Chinese Cultural Center. The festival will showcase the talent in the local communities, and feature local Asian-American dancers, musicians, chefs, writers, and artists. Families will have the opportunity to participate in several hands-on workshops, while sampling a variety of regional cuisines from local Asian restaurants. Lunar Fest NJ will also offer an eclectic mix of jewelry, clothing, and handicraft vendors.

8/3 NYCCC's Virtual Workshop for MOCA's Dragon Boat Festival

Taught by the martial arts master from the New York Chinese Cultural Center, this introductory workshop will introduce you to some basic stances, strikes, as well as a modified "Dragon" routine. Virtual Chinese Dance Workshops with Chinatown YMCA

Bryant Park Picnic Performances

The Picnic Performances series will return to New York City's Bryant Park this summer with 25 live and in-person music, dance, and theatre events. The free series at the midtown park will be offered to a socially distanced audience, with performances live streamed as well. The season opens on June 9 with a four-night run of shows by musicians from the New York Philharmonic and closes on September 20 with a 100th anniversary celebration for The Town Hall.
