The New York Chinese Cultural Center (NYCCC), a nonprofit cultural and educational institution, is dedicated to deepening the understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture in the global and local communities. NYCCC fulfills its mission by offering professional classes, workshops, and performances while nurturing creative and innovative new works that reflect the rich cultural heritages and diverse communities of today.
provides professional quality education-based assembly programs, workshops, and residencies for schools grades PreK-12.
produces city-wide, public events to promote Chinese culture throughout the five boroughs. Past partnerships include programs with Metropolitan Museum of Art, Lincoln Center, SummerStage Central Park, Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Queens Theatre, Queens Botanical Garden, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and others.
offers a comprehensive curriculum of Chinese dance, martial arts, visual arts, Beijing opera acrobatics, language, and other culturally related programs all year-round.
presents professional level Chinese dance to audiences across the nation. From traditional to contemporary DCNY's repertoire spans across all categories of Chinese dance to include folk, minority, classical, and modern works.
