Artists Residency

Artists Residency Program supports Asian American artists by providing space for creating new work in performing arts & visual arts. Support includes up to 100 hours of free studio time, honorarium, technical and administrative services, advocacy, and work-in-progress showings or exhibition.

NYCCC’s residency program is a supporting system for creativity, pressure-free environment for artists with Chinese and/or Asian heritage background.



Participating artists will be featured in the public presenting series and receive the following benefits including:


  1. Free Rehearsal Space: each choreographer will receive free studio time to work on their projects

  2. Tech and Production Support: NYCCC will provide production crew to assist the choreographers in presenting their works

  3. Participants will be giving master classes and/or workshops to NYCCC School of the Arts students, or jam sessions.



NYCCC will provide full marketing support to each choreographer and the whole series.
