Join this class and get a flavor of the technical skill, form and bearing, the three main components in Classical Chinese dance. *No classes on 5/18 & 5/25. *Online registration closes 4/5. If you are interested in registering for this class, please email school@nychineseculturalcenter.org Teacher Bio: Jiao Li is School Director at New York Chinese Cultural Center. She is Chinese native graduate from Temple University Master of Fine Art in Modern dance. Before receiving her BA from Beijing Dance Academy in Chinese Folk dance, she served as an Adjunct Professor in the dance department of University of Sports Tian Jin in China. She has previously had the great honor of performing at China’s National Center for the Performing Arts. She was invited to dance at the New York Times Square Countdown Live 2017. She participated in Hong Kong international Choreography Festival and presented her piece in Sheung Wan Civic Center Theater in 2017, she has been teaching at NYCCC since 2018.

Cancellation Policy

CLASSES: No refunds or credits will be made for incidental absences or withdrawals. NYCCC reserves the right to cancel or change any class listed in our class schedule if enrollment is inadequate. We also reserve the right to change instructors. If a class is cancelled and a student is unable to find an appropriate replacement class, tuition will be refunded. If students want to cancel a class, they have to cancel before third week of semester. We will charge student class fee for first 1 or 2 classes and $25 cancellation fee. We will refund the prorated balance of the tuition fee.
